Drug Use

Arguably his best project, entitled DRUGS is called follows:

Drug Use
“After experiencing drastic changes in my environment, I sought out other experiences which may profoundly affect my understanding of the self. So I devised another experiment where everyday I took an alternative drug and drew myself under the influence. Within weeks I became lethargic and suffered mild brain damage. I will be still conducting this experiment but over greater lapses of time. I usually drugs that are given in my experience.”

Below, you will see an accumulation of portraits Saunders drew while consuming various substances including cocaine, to marijuana, to DMT. Each portrait is an astonishing check out the mind someone tweaked out on drugs, something that the eyes will certainly appreciate.
